Another bit of image manipulation, so on comfortable Daily Create territory again, but couldn’t resist the invitation to make an album cover, especially with bad design in mind. I do collect a bit of vintage vinyl, so actually the cheesier the album cover art the better.
Ken Dodd Hits for Now and Always (UK, 1966)
Once the idea of doing a Sweet Brown album came to mind the design process was pretty quick. The photograpic image was captured as a screenshot from a video. I then pasted it in to PowerPoint and riffed on the theme of time via a clip art clock. This gave the ‘3:03’ reference and the title plays on the ‘Ain’t Got Time for That’ idea. Bright clashing colours and fonts complete the look. The image was then saved as a JPG using screen capture software.
